Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to improve value for the business. Collaborate with project teams to understand and fulfil material requirements. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues impacting project timelines or budgets. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain. Manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.Profile A successful Project Buyer should have: Previous experience in procurement or supply chain within the industrial engineering or manufacturing sector. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Proficiency in procurement systems and tools. Knowledge of industry-specific materials and components.
