Assistant Site Manager

Location: Braintree, Essex Rate: £220 per day Contract Type: Freelance Start Date: ASAP We’re currently recruiting for a Freelance Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a fast-track interior fit out project in Braintree. This role is ideal for someone who has proven experience in the fit out sector, is confident managing subcontractors, and can work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Site Manager with daily operations on site * Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and trades * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations * Maintain quality standards and assist with snagging and handover * Keep accurate site records and report progress Requirements: * Must have previous experience on interior fit out projects (retail, commercial, or office fit outs) * Valid SSSTS or SMSTS * CSCS card * First Aid * Strong leadership and organisational skills * Able to work independently and keep the site running smoothly in the Site Manager's absence when needed What’s on Offer: * £220 per day * Immediate start * Work with a respected fit out contractor
