You will be part of a large team who all understand the importance of working together to ensure a high standard of work is delivered. You will be given support, training and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of electronic security systems across national sites. Security Systems Designer – Role and Responsibilities: * Participate in site meetings to gather client requirements, identify risks, and understand operational demands * Survey sites in detail and create precise reports on the state of current systems * Design electronic security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, and occasionally Fire Alarms) in line with industry standards * Produce comprehensive proposals, costings and technical specifications & diagrams * Use Visio, CAD, or equivalent tools to generate layout plans, elevations, and wiring schematics * Contribute technical input, drawings, and cost estimates to bid and tender submissions Security Systems Designer – Skills and Experience: * Proven experience designing electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection) * Capable of assessing security weaknesses on-site and delivering tailored design solutions to address them * Competent in producing specifications, schematics, drawings, and cost estimates using CAD and diagramming tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, or equivalent * Skilled in balancing technical requirements with financial and risk implications * You will hold a Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent * Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY - APPLY NOW Get Staff acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers Please note that if you have not been contacted within 7 days, your application for this position has been unsuccessful
