CNC Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our dynamic client team - a Somerset-based engineering company with over 40 years of industry experience. Job type Temporary Ongoing Location Dorchester Working hours Monday Thursday, Day Shift Salary £45,000 - £50,000 Key Responsibilities: Operate a variety of CNC machines and associated equipment in a precision engineering environment Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce high-quality components Take responsibility for machine setup, operation, and basic upkeep Work closely with production leads to prioritize tasks and meet scheduling requirements Monitor tool performance and liaise with suppliers to ensure efficient tooling solutions Perform routine quality checks and adjustments to maintain standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Ensure work output aligns with quality and safety expectations Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a CNC machining role Experience with multi-spindle machines is beneficial Ability to read and understand technical documentation Strong teamwork skills and proactive attitude Willingness to adapt to changing business needs Benefits: Holiday entitlement rising with length of service Workplace pension scheme Free parking Annual pay review Annual bonus scheme Ongoing / bespoke career development / training opportunities Company events
