An excellent opportunity has arisen for a New Business Advisor to join a leading, well-established law firm based in Sheffield. This role sits within the firm’s new business team, supporting the team by managing new client enquiries and ensuring a smooth transition from initial contact through to formal instruction. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the firm’s reputation for exceptional client care, providing informed and professional support to individuals seeking family law services. Key Responsibilities: * Acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients, handling enquiries by telephone, email, and online platforms. * Assessing client needs and converting enquiries into formal instructions. * Providing clear, empathetic, and professional communication throughout the onboarding process. * Liaising with solicitors and legal support staff to ensure seamless client handovers. * Maintaining accurate and confidential records in line with firm policies and compliance requirements. About You: * Experience working within a legal or professional services environment is highly advantageous, particularly within family law or related practice areas. * Proven ability to convert enquiries into instructions while maintaining professionalism and discretion. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and understanding. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. * Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Full training will be provided on the firm’s systems, processes, and any legal terminology as required.
