Lead Design Engineer

LOCATION: Dursley START DATE: ASAP PAY: £50,000 - £70,000 PERMANENT WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday Vacancy LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER ESS Employment Ltd are looking to employ a Lead Design Engineer to work with an established client, to support their thriving design team. Duties for the role: Project Leading in the busy CAA Approved Design Organisation. Developing complete approved Design solutions. Compliance Verification of Design artefacts CAD Modelling through to detail drawing generation. Liaison with customers, sub-contractors & staff. The successful candidate: Degree educated or equivalent in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering. Significant experience as a Design Engineer, with a project lead role. Mentoring and sound design guidance to develop project team members. Team player. Strong research and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal communications skills In-depth knowledge of Civil & Military Aviation regulations an advantage Strong understanding of business management principles Working knowledge of relevant software tools and computer literacy Attention to detail 10 years Relevant experience (Preferred) Driven and highly motivated The benefits: Additional leave Company pension On-site parking If this vacancy is of an interest to you, please do not hesitate to apply!
