Receptionist – Friendly & Professional Law Firm | Hove Salary: £24,000 per annum Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch) Holidays: 20 days your birthday off Christmas close-down (paid) Perks: Summer and Christmas company socials About the Role Talented People are proud to be recruiting for a professional and established law firm based in Hove, who are seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist to join their front-of-house team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and a passion for providing a first-class client experience. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors — ensuring every interaction reflects the professionalism and warmth of the firm. Key Responsibilities * Open and prepare reception each morning * Answer and manage calls professionally via the switchboard * Greet clients warmly and offer refreshments * Manage incoming and outgoing post * Maintain meeting rooms to a high standard * Manage petty cash and ensure receipts are logged * Maintain a tidy, organised reception area * Support office supplies and liaise with cleaners * Act as first point of contact in any emergency situation What We’re Looking For * Excellent telephone manner and communication skills * Friendly, professional, and well-presented * Able to multi-task in a busy environment * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills * Customer service focused Why You’ll Love This Role This firm genuinely values its people and creates a supportive, team-focused environment.
