Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction and completion of a new retail food store in Telford. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy contractor delivering modern, fast-paced retail projects across the UK. The Role: As the Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, leading the build through to successful handover. This new build retail scheme includes groundworks, steel frame, cladding, internal fit-out, and external works, requiring a proactive manager who can deliver high-quality results to tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and coordinate all site activities and subcontractors. * Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety and company standards. * Oversee programme delivery, quality control, and site documentation. * Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities. * Drive the project to completion in line with agreed milestones and handover requirements. Requirements: * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid – essential. * Proven track record managing new build retail or supermarket projects. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * Ability to manage projects independently and maintain high standards on site.
