About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a supportive and well-structured primary school team. Key Responsibilities • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 4. • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of a wide range of abilities, including pupils with SEND and EAL. • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement. • Work collaboratively with year group partners and support staff to ensure consistency and progress across the key stage. • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including staff training, enrichment activities, and parental engagement. • Use formative and summative assessment effectively to track progress and inform future planning. The Ideal Candidate • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Demonstrates strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 4 objectives. • Has experience teaching in diverse classrooms with a high proportion of SEND, EAL, and disadvantaged pupils. • Understands the importance of positive behaviour management and trauma-informed approaches. • Is reflective, organised, and committed to professional growth. • Brings energy, creativity, and a child-centred approach to teaching and learning.
