About the Role: We are looking for a confident, energetic SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ADHD and Autism in a primary school setting. The ideal candidate will bring patience, structure, and positivity to help the pupil regulate, focus, and thrive both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day. • Implement strategies to help with attention, focus, and emotional regulation. • Support the pupil in developing social and communication skills. • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions. • Encourage participation in physical activities and sports-based learning to boost engagement. • Maintain a calm, supportive approach while promoting independence. Ideal Candidate: • Experience supporting pupils with ADHD and Autism (ASC). • Sporty, active, and confident in using movement or games as a learning tool. • Positive role model who can build trust and consistency. • Strong understanding of behaviour regulation and sensory needs. • Resilient, calm under pressure, and able to adapt to changing needs. • Team player who works collaboratively with teaching and SEN staff. Requirements: • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). • Recent experience in a school or SEN setting. • Right to work in the UK. Why work via Teach Now?
