About the Role We are seeking a passionate and adaptable SEN Teacher to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pods, providing targeted support to pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, Speech & Language, and Learning Difficulties. You’ll be joining a well-resourced primary school with a strong inclusion ethos, delivering tailored teaching across small groups and individual sessions within their specialist provision.This role is ideal for someone with ARP (Additional Resource Provision) or SEN school experience, who thrives in a structured yet nurturing environment and can confidently adapt to the varying needs of each pod. Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP targets. • Work closely with the SENCO, Teaching Assistants, and Therapists to ensure holistic support for each child. • Use trauma-informed, relationship-based, and positive behaviour management approaches. • Monitor and track progress, adjusting interventions where needed. • Foster a calm, safe, and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and independence. Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification. • Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally within an ARP or Special School setting. • Sound knowledge of Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum and differentiation strategies. • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. • Compassionate, patient, and committed to inclusive education.
