Are you interested in solving some of the largest and most complex client business problems with Azure? For our offices in Milan, Rome, and Turin, we are looking for an Application Architect who will create solutions and work on one of our most strategic projects, acting as a technical consultant for digital transformations. You will interact with senior leaders and be involved in international, technologically compelling projects for enterprise customers across all geographies. Your responsibilities will include defining solutions, delivering them, and driving customer vision adoption. Skills And Experiences 3 to 5 years of experience designing and implementing complex solutions. Experience with cloud architecture concepts such as containerization, eventual consistency, autoscaling, multi‑tenancy, serverless, and strangler pattern. Experience with agile methods, Continuous Delivery/DevOps, and related concepts. Proficient in “Everything as Code” and continuous practices. At least 2 years of cloud solution design experience (public/private). Ability to lead cross‑functional teams (Avanade and client). Ability to collaborate with market teams to develop new offerings and reference architectures. Strong experience with SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, SRE, and software planning. About You Excellent communication skills to guide stakeholders through complex technical solutions. Continuously staying up‑to‑date with new technologies and tools. Ability to define technical commitments, conduct architectural sessions, PoCs, and multi‑year cloud transformation programs, especially migrating from on‑premise to Azure, GCP, or AWS. Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Containers, Hyper‑V, etc.). Experience applying compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 271, GDPR. Knowledge of SAST, DAST, or Pen‑Testing, especially in sectors like Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing. Experience with Linux and OSS within the Microsoft ecosystem, evaluating customers’ IT portfolios, and designing implementation architectures. Creation of reusable solution accelerators that deliver value at lower cost. What You'll Do In this role, you will work closely with Client Account Teams and Sales/Offering Leads to deliver differentiated solutions, driving architecture and application development projects in Azure for migration, modernization, and optimization.
