Job Description
As part of our ongoing implementation of a new HR delivery model, we are looking for a Payroll Professional for our HR Services EMEA team. Reporting to our Payroll Manager, you will join a newly formed team within our shared services setup. As such, the role would suit someone with the motivation and drive to play an active role in the development of that team, ensuring successful delivery of payroll and people admin services mainly in Italy while supporting other countries in the EMEA region. What You’ll Be Doing In your daily job you will handle the following tasks: Payroll: Process monthly payroll for the designated countries in coordination with the vendors ensuring compliance, accuracy and efficiency in all our payroll & time processes, monitoring end to end activities and supervising inputs and outcomes in a timely manner as per the calendars. Ensure data integrity across platforms, including contracts, reporting lines, organizational changes, base salaries, cost centers. Administer and archive payroll, tax, and employment documentation both electronically and physically, ensuring GDPR compliance. Upload and approve salary payments in internal payment system. Guarantee correct payroll processing and delivery of payslips and certificates, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and company policies. Coordinate administrative onboarding, internal mobility, terminations, addendums, and leave management, maintaining accurate personnel files. Compliance: Ensure compliance with NCBA and CLA updates, supporting Local HR with industrial relations activities including union queries and collective bargaining. Prepare payroll reports and simulations for management and finance, supporting audits and compliance checks. Collaboration: Work with divergent functions across HR, Finance, and external payroll partner and problem solve on various issues across HR process-oriented to ensure seamless deliveries and be a solid team member. Employee queries: Act as a point of contact on payroll and HR admin related topics working in our ticket system ServiceNow, email, and phone. Documentation: Document tasks and processes in work instructions and create and maintain knowledge articles supporting self-service in the business. Support and coordination: Participate in Global and Regional projects and initiatives, coordinate on local level. Implementation of global standards and procedures. Reporting: Prepare different reports for corporate or governmental needs, such as reporting to local authorities, internal and external audits. Keep track of payroll metrics and KPIs. What We're Looking For We imagine that you hold a relevant bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration or have equivalent work experience. We expect you to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Payroll and People administration preferably from an international company and Production Plants. You have experience working with case management tools such as ServiceNow and have a strong knowledge of Excel and MS tools. You are a quick learner, have a global mindset and an appetite for working in a set-up where we are exploring new and more efficient ways of working.
