CNC Machine Operator

Job Description Job Description Our client in Broomall is seeking a CNC Machine Operator! DIRECT HIRE/PERMANENT CNC Machine Operator Details: Monday-Friday, 7am-330pm $25-$30/HR based on experience Room for growth Healthcare benefits, vacation, holidays DIRECT HIRE/PERMANENT CNC Machine Operator Description: Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on CNC cutting equipment Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications. Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock. Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Stage raw materials at each work-center for the day’s production. CNC Machine Operator Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of factory-related experience 5 years of CNC machining preferred Experience in the operation of cnc saws and cnc milling machines Working experience on multiple brands of CNC machines such as Amada , Mazak , Haas, Bystronic, or Messer is highly preferred Reading and Understanding drawings PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
