Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour Weekend Nights (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday); holidays as scheduled. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Cardiac and Vascular Stepdown Unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to post-operative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide care for post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including CABG, valve replacements, LVAD, and heart transplants. Monitor and manage patient recovery and complications following complex cardiac and vascular surgeries. Administer medications and titrate IV drips as required, including Heparin, Amiodarone, and others. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid Registered Nurse license. Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
