Financial Accountant

In this role, you'll be part of an international finance team supporting General Ledger activities and ensuring smooth monthly closings. You'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple countries, gaining valuable exposure and opportunities to grow. Client Details Our client is a leading global player in the travel retail sector with operations in dozens of countries. Description Execute daily General Ledger activities (rates, accruals, prepayments, journal entries, assets). Coordinate with Controlling and Country Finance teams to finalize monthly results. Manage VAT declarations for local operations. Ensure accurate and timely reporting. Contribute to process improvements and compliance activities. Support audits and ad-hoc financial requests. Profile Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Finance, Economics, or similar. Fluent in English language Around 2-5 years of relevant experience in a finance role. Shared Service Center experience is a plus. Knowledge of SAP or other major ERP systems (Oracle, Navision). Proficient in Microsoft Office. Comfortable working in an international environment and open to travel.
