Client Details For an international company in Eindhoven, we are looking for a new colleague who is fluent in English for the Accounting department. This company is the world's leading travel retailer, and its Financial Shared Services Center is located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The Financial Shared Services Center is the heart of the financial data collected from all around the world. The company is growing and offers a lot of potential and opportunities. In this company, you will work in a large team with other young finance professionals from international backgrounds. Everyone is specialized in their own (native) language. The company has an informal work culture with a lot of diversity and social interaction. Description In this position, you will work in a large team on various General Ledger activities. Support in daily activities such as the calculation of rates, journal postings, accrual building, concession fees, and asset management are part of the job. In addition, you will prepare and support the month-end close and the balance sheet reconciliation. To finalize the monthly results, you will liaise with the Controlling team and the local country controller. Another responsibility of this position is the declaration of VAT for the local operation.
