Position Hydro Extrusion Italy, Ornago plant, is looking for a PLANT CONTROLLER who will report directly to the Regional Controller South Europe. Areas of responsibility Production Cost Control: monitor and analyze production costs to ensure they are aligned with the budget and forecast. Budgeting and Forecasting: support the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecast, analyzing variances between actual results and planned figures. Financial and Operational Reporting: prepare periodic reports on the company’s economic and financial performance, including profit margins, fixed and variable costs, and other key performance metrics. Business Performance Analysis: perform detailed analyses of various business processes (production, logistics, sales) to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement. Inventory and Warehouse Management: monitor inventory flow, analyze warehouse costs, and optimize working capital. Control and Analysis of Production Plant Performance: analyze the operating costs of plants, with particular attention to efficiency and continuous improvement. Support for Strategic Decisions: provide financial information and analysis to support the company’s strategic decisions. Compliance and Internal Controls: ensure the company adheres to accounting and tax regulations, as well as internal control policies. Key Qualifications Degree in Economics Previous experience of at least 5 years in management control, preferably in industrial environments. Proven experience working cross-functionally with teams such as procurement, operations, and others. Excellent written and spoken English In-depth knowledge of cost analysis techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Familiarity with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills. Advanced knowledge of Office Automation, Excel, PowerPoint package Good understanding of accounting principles and both Italian and international tax regulations. Knowledge of the accounting logic and IFRS accounting Ability to analyze and synthesize data in a clear and understandable manner. Personal Qualifications Excellent communication skills to effectively report and present financial data to leadership. Excellent problem-solving, time management skills, and ability to work under pressure. Ability to work in teams and interact with different business functions.
