Product Manager – Hydraulic Actuators Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager – Hydraulic Actuators to lead the development and expansion of a key hydraulic actuator product line. This role involves transforming custom-engineered solutions into standardized, globally available products, driving innovation, and ensuring market competitiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in hydraulics, combined with excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, to shape the future of this high-growth product in a dynamic, global environment. Product Manager – Hydraulic Actuators Responsibilities Lead the entire lifecycle of the hydraulic actuator product line from concept through launch and ongoing market expansion. Transition the product from a custom-made solution to a standardized, configurable offering suitable for worldwide manufacturing and sales. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure design consistency, quality standards, and manufacturability. Serve as the technical expert on hydraulic and electrohydraulic systems, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Coordinate efforts across internal teams and international partners to plan, execute, and support successful product launches. Develop technical content for marketing, customer training, and documentation. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field engineering and customer service teams, including occasional site visits. Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to refine product strategy, improve designs, and increase cost efficiency. Partner with sales teams to position the product effectively across various industrial and energy markets. Product Manager – Hydraulic Actuators Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field. Between 5 to 10 years of experience in hydraulic systems, product development, or engineering within manufacturing or industrial sectors. Hands-on experience with hydraulic power units, electrohydraulic actuators, pumps, valves, and control systems. Familiarity with hydraulic componentry such as solenoids, control valves, accumulators, and servo systems. Knowledge of hydraulic system integration within manufacturing environments. Proficiency with CAD tools like SolidWorks for system design review and updates. Strong understanding of fluid power design principles, system testing, and validation processes. Experience with PLC or electronic control interfaces and systems integration. Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills. Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, product training, and field support LI-OnsitePandologic.
