Your new company Hays are working with a prominent public sector body in the appointment of a PO4 Finance Business Partner which will reports to: Head of Strategic Financial role of Finance Business Partner to join our team and help shape financial strategy and governance across a vital public service. Your new role Deliver financial management and governance for specified Directorates Provide strategic advice and challenge to senior leadership Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning Support business planning and development of long-term financial strategies Ensure compliance with public sector financial standards and governance Contribute to continuous improvement and cultural change in financial management What you'll need to succeed Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA, ICAEW, etc.) Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience in management accounting and analysis Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills Advanced Excel and IT proficiency Valid driving licence and access to transport ??
