Painter

One of our clients, a distribution center, is looking for a Painter for a temporary assignment.Your tasks will include:-Removing paint and sanding surfaces to prepare them for repainting-Estimating the amount of material needed to complete the job and ensuring it is supplied-Filling cracks and holes and sealing joints with putty, plaster, tape, or other filling compounds using the appropriate tools-Choosing pre-mixed paints or preparing paint to obtain the required colors by mixing the specified proportions of pigments, oil, and additives to facilitate mixing and drying-Applying paint or varnish to surfaces with a brush, roller, or spray gun-Apply wallpaper or fabric to walls-Obtain supplies from the store as needed for the work to be done and enter the necessary information into the computer-Keep your work area clean and safe-Ensure that your equipment is in good working order and notify your supervisor of any defectsSchedule : 4 days/week (38,75 hours/week)Wednesday to Friday from 6:30am-5pmSaturday from 6:30am-4:45pm -Vocational diploma-CCQ painter card (essential)-Relevant experience in a similar position-Independent, versatile, and diligent
