THE ROLE Are you passionate about equity, inclusion, and bilingualism in the workplace? We’re looking for a Human Resources Legislated Programs Manager to lead our Official Languages and Employment Equity programs. In this role, you’ll shape and implement policies that align with federal legislation, support inclusive practices, and ensure compliance across the organization. You’ll also implement change management best practices in the development of tools, training, and communications to help staff understand and apply these policies effectively. You’ll manage employee data, analyze trends, and provide insights to senior leaders to support informed decision-making. You’ll also handle official languages complaints, support our Champions Network, and lead the preparation of key reports and action plans. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Human Resources, Education, or a related field, AND some years of experience in human resources, legislated programs such as official languages and employment equity, or in a related field Experience In developing, interpreting, and implementing policies, procedures, and relevant legislations In developing and implementing communication plan, training, and briefing materials In planning, administering and coordinating HR programs In translating business strategies into HR programs strategies In administering second language training programs In providing advice and guidance In budget administration In personnel administration Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
