Job Description

The Supply Chain Compliance Supervisor will perform risk assessment and oversight of suppliers, 3rd party, business partners, warehouses, tollers, wash stations, and transport (incoming and outgoing). This supervision includes ensuring local programs and products comply with T&L policies, specifications, food safety standards, government regulations, and best practices and continuous improvement activities. The role will provide guidelines and support for Operations LATAM to implement quality, food safety programs and customers and regulatory requirements to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Assist with improvements to key business processes which have an impact on Quality and Food Safety to enable better ways of working and achievement of agreed SLA’s Main Accountabilities Provide support to enable and empower employees and contractors on EHSQS matters to ensure everyone is engaged in shaping our EHSQS programs Serve as a Quality/Food Safety subject matter expert for Supply Chain providing guidance/advice to key stakeholders. Assess and monitor Quality/Food Safety Management System and products in the 3rd party, business partners and suppliers, under scope. Ensure regulatory compliance of T&L Supply Chain operations, through sanitary licenses, technical professional register and compliance with quality and food safety legislations. Work requirements and solutions with all internal stakeholders such as Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics teams to support customers and regulatory requirements. Ensure that a Quality Management System is implemented and maintained in the entity under scope. Support SC and Logistics teams with problem solving, tracking of open issues, and timely disposition of all defective materials. Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders inside-and-outside of the department. Skills And Experiences Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry or comparable required. > 3 years of working knowledge of Quality and Food Safety programs in a food manufacturing environment or in a professional environment where compliance is of vital importance Thorough understanding & working knowledge of Food safety and GFSI standards and other customer standards Robust understanding of legislation relating to the food industry. Effective communicator in Portuguese and English, both verbally and written. Strong oral communication skills in Spanish preferred Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of understanding regarding quality and food safety. Effective influencing and negotiating skills Ability to lead small teams and to delegate and management tasks. Previous leadership experience preferred Ability to troubleshoot, address and finalize the resolution of tasks and problems Foster a dynamic culture based on partnership, agility and execution.
