Job Description

What you’ll do: The primary function includes but is not limited to supervising and developing staff who are responsible for ensuring the flow of all incoming supplier (Imported, Local and Raw Material), managing inventory levels, reducing waste and driving performance improvements throughout the external supply chain. Additional responsibilities may include: Leading resolution of material shortage risk, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions to the factory in an effort to support demand from internal and external customers. In a highly complex environment: Developing and communicating inventory strategies and targets aligned to the forecast. Establishing and maintaining decision rules based on playbook (PFEP) for Safety Stock and all parameters related to Inventory Replenishment. Supporting new product launches and forecasted demand and production planning. Leading initiatives and taking actions for low-turnover inventory (excess and obsolete). Supervising the production of reports, analytics, strategy and goals as well as performance reports. Mentor junior members Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, or related fields Extensive experience in manufacturing, inventory/stock control, supply planning, and demand management Experience with national and international logistics operations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, especially Excel and PowerPoint Advanced English proficiency (active and frequent participation in meetings) Desirable: People leadership experience Knowledge of Oracle Experience in the automotive sector CPIM certification J-18808-Ljbffr
