Job Description
As LATAM Demand Planning Manager , you are part of a Global Operations Team, reporting to the Head of Supply and Demand LATAM and you will be responsible for Tate’s Latin America market, developing and preparing sales and operations forecasts, trends for all region categories as well as being responsible for the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) cycle. About You We are looking for a very dynamic professional, able to quickly adapt yourself, surpass difficulties into complex scenarios, direct effective action on supply chain and establish valuable connections with stakeholders. The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for managing and developing the demand plan over the entire 24 month planning horizon, build a forecast and justify assumptions from data using a variety of analytic techniques. Then present the analytical forecast to the stakeholders to create a consensus. The professional should be able to understand indicators of forecast direction, where assumptions have been violated, correlate this with others supply & financial KPIs and drive improvements to sales and working capital. What You’ll Be Doing Lead S&OP cycle and all meetings. Analyse quantity, statistical and financial forecasts. Provides coaching/mentorship to the Latin America demand planning organization, responsible for leading/supporting talent development initiatives. Drives cross-functional alignment to resolve demand and supply imbalances to minimize service impacts, changeovers, and over time. Demand Planning parameters management in OMP/SAP: statistical models’ definition, outliers managements and forecast inputs. Supports product life cycle planning activities to facilitate the integration of new product/discontinuation / phase-in / phase-out/product transfer initiatives into the regional supply chain network. Working capital control: inventory turnover, slow move, write-off, days of stock. Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner. Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy. Monitor and report any important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies. Lead sales teams through reviews of the forecast signals, collect assumptions and requested overrides, and drive alignment of forecast Execute diagnostic projects, design and implementation of new dashboards and process improvements. Establishing trusting relationships with the internal areas to develop a growing and efficient delivery. What You’ll have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related discipline. Strong background using demand planning advanced systems as OMP, APO, I2, JDE. At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations with background in demand planning, S&OP, supply chain planning, materials management, business process redesign, systems implementations. Fluent in English and Spanish. Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Fiori). APICS/ASCM certification is a plus. Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus. Python language is a plus. Problem-solving skills, capable to prepare scenarios and simplify complex issues. Strong analytical skills, in terms of both data and process management. Excellent verbal and written communication in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures. Ability to cope with ambiguity and implement structure and clarity. Ability to work well with people at various levels and with different cultural backgrounds. Passion for managing information as a corporate resource; recognizing the business value of data. High critical sense. Leadership skill to lead and develop talent.
