About the opportunity Senior Ruby on Rails or any other ODD language or framework expertise required with at least 5 years of experience (or 2–3 years with strong operational tasks). Key technical focus areas: Ruby on Rails Kafka Event Sourcing QA and quality assurance by developers Full‑stack (70% backend 30% frontend) Location: US – Atlantic time zone. Availability for PST or EST working hours is preferred, but a manageable start right away is acceptable. Interview Process AM screening Panel interview – 3 parts (culture, coding exercise, software design exercise) AM final interview Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain production‑ready web applications and systems. Build reusable component libraries. Implement event‑based architectures and integrate with Kafka pipelines. Deliver quality code and participate in continuous improvement practices. Qualifications 3–5 years of software engineering experience Understanding of reusable component libraries and building production‑ready web applications Passionate about testing practices and continuous improvement Familiarity with event‑based architectures, database fundamentals, and GraphQL Enthusiasm for solving problems for users with technology Curiosity about retail/e‑commerce, high‑end consignment market, and/or sustainable circular economy for luxury goods Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Legal We are an equal opportunity employer.
