Oracle EBS Order Management Consultant Job Type: Long-term based contract job opportunity Job Description: This role focuses on evaluating and enhancing Oracle EBS Order Management functionalities to improve business processes and deliver proven value. The consultant will serve as a subject‑matter expert on Oracle Order Management suite modules and collaborate closely with process owners, stakeholders, and enterprise architects. Evaluates Oracle EBS Order Management suite of modules' functionality and provides solution recommendations. Serves as a subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures, and functionality associated with Oracle Order Management suite of modules. Primary Modules: Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, Release Management and E-Commerce Gateway. Secondary Modules: iStore, Order Information Portal, Inventory, Quality, Bill of Materials and Costing. Partners with process owners, stakeholders and enterprise architects to gather, document and review functional, architecture and technical requirements. Define optimum application setup, high‑level and detailed technical solution designs. Configure and verify EBS Modules to meet order‑to‑cash requirements and specifications. Design and oversee the development of integration customizations, workflows, and extensions. Work on the Analytics platform (built using Snowflake) for dashboards and metrics. Business insight – applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals. Customer focus – building strong customer relationships and delivering customer‑centric solutions. Global perspective – taking a broad view when approaching issues, using a global lens. Manages complexity – making sense of complex, high‑quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems effectively. Manages conflict – handling conflict situations effectively. Optimizes work processes – focusing on continuous improvement. Tech‑savvy – anticipating and adopting innovations in digital and technology applications. Solution Configuration – configuring, creating, and testing a solution for COTS applications to meet governance and compliance requirements. Solution Design – creating detailed solution designs with instrumentation and measurement. Solution Functional Fit Analysis – studying how component parts are configured to interact holistically. Solution Modeling – designing models, diagrams, and documentation using industry standards. Solution Validation Testing – validating configuration changes or solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements. Values differences – recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization. Education, Experience, Certification Degree in IT. 5 years experience in Oracle Order Management (EBS & or Fusion) implementations, including Advanced Pricing and Release Management. Certification in Oracle Order Management (EBS or Fusion) mandatory. Certification in Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning highly beneficial. Robust (7 years) system analysis and design experience, including functional requirements for enterprise‑level applications. Experience in the full software development lifecycle. Experience delivering solutions via AGILE methodologies preferred. Functional domain knowledge in order‑to‑cash software applications.
