Location and Flexibility This is a hybrid role. Work in a hybrid mode from one of our offices in São Paulo (2 times/week or 8 days/month) or Porto Alegre (3 times/week or 12 days/month). The Opportunity As an Engineering Lead at TELUS Digital, you’ll manage a highly skilled engineering team building amazing digital products for our clients. You’ll help them achieve personal and professional goals, drive team and client adoption of cutting‑edge techniques and delivery processes, and use your technical expertise to shape the solutions we create. You’ll also be a hands‑on technical leader who effectively guides a team while actively participating in development. The ideal candidate will drive technical decisions and architecture while contributing directly to coding efforts when needed. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience building digital products and 1 year of leading a team. Experience with iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) or React Native development technologies. Managed a team of software engineers, with responsibility for growing people through goal‑setting, coaching, and feedback. Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile practices, pairing, mobbing, and shift‑left testing. Own delivery of a complete mobile or digital product with durable, secure, scalable, and thoroughly tested code. Can simplify and communicate complex problems around technology, business processes, user experience, and development tasks. Fluent English and Portuguese (written, verbal, presentation). This role is open to our São Paulo or Porto Alegre office. Bonus Points Professional experience as a Project or Product Manager and Scrum Master from a major technology consultancy or agency. Guided a client to further their use of modern engineering practices or agile software delivery processes. Certifications such as CSM, CSPO, PMP, SA, SPC, etc. Account planning and growth activities.
