About This Opportunity The senior software engineer is responsible for managing all technical aspects of software development for applications, including the development of prototypes, documentation of applications under ownership, resolution of reported bugs, end user engagement, training and guidance of junior resources. This is a CLT and fully remote position. Must reside in Brazil. Benefits include: Health and dental insurance Meal and restaurant vouchers Fixed monthly stipend for internet and mobile expenses Company-issued device (hardware and software) Annual bonuses Responsibilities Analyze requirements/user stories to support design activities Perform all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications, including developing prototypes and writing new code / APIs Function as an active member of an agile team with consistent development practices Produce software builds from source code Conduct integration tests as defined in test specifications, including event logging and reporting of results Perform unit and assembly testing of software components and develop test scripts Conduct code reviews and test automated build scripts Debug software components, identify and fix defects, and verify remediation Identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies Provide continuous support for ongoing production application availability Write instructions to guide computer operators during production runs Work with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manage technical requirements based on trends, new technologies, defects, and issues Qualifications Associate Degree, Technologo (Technologist) Degree, or higher required At least 5 years of progressive Java development experience using open JDK (11) in enterprise-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant environments KSA (Knowledge; Skills; Abilities) Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners on solution design Ability to advance project timelines and communicate status updates to stakeholders Experience with open source application frameworks (Spring Boot, CXF, Axis, Netty) Experience with Relational Databases (MS SQL Server) Experience with web service security implementations (TLS, XML security, OAuth 2) Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) Experience with application servers (JBoss EAP 7) Experience with application containers (Tomcat, Karaf) Strong object oriented programming/design principles (abstraction, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation) Experience with Agile practices (XP, Scrum, TDD) Experience participating in full project lifecycles; version control, build management, unit testing, issue tracking (e.g., SVN, Maven, JIRA) Understanding of software development best practices Experience reading and writing UML diagrams (decision flow and sequence) InComm Payments provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin, citizenship, veteran’s status, age, disability status, genetics or any other category protected by law. *This position is eligible for the Employee Referral Bonus Program Tier IV J-18808-Ljbffr
