Job Description Join KPMG Italy as an IT Strategy Senior Consultant in the Retail & Consumer sector. You will have the opportunity to help clients tackle and solve complex challenges, working on innovative technologies and exciting projects. The role involves supporting clients in areas such as ICT Strategy, ICT Architecture, Data Management, and ICT Planning & Budgeting. Responsibilities: Support clients in developing innovative technology strategies and operating models. Enable clients to adopt cutting-edge solutions for applications, infrastructure, and telecommunications. Assist clients in identifying the best data management solutions and designing data management architectures. Support clients in identifying, prioritizing, designing, and better directing technology investments. Manage governance and provide technical support during the selection of options and vendors throughout the ICT services lifecycle. Design the appropriate structure and sizing of ICT resources. Evaluate and suggest options to better allocate ICT spending and resources. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. At least 2-3 years of experience in IT strategic consulting or roles within the IT function of companies in the Retail & Consumer sector. Knowledge in at least one of the following sectors: Fashion, Large-Scale Retail (GDO), Food & Beverage, Beauty, DIY. Familiarity with major application architectures in the Retail & Consumer world. Experience in governing digital transformation initiatives in Retail & Consumer. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. Proficiency in English, ideally enhanced through study/work experience abroad. Preferred qualifications: Experience in designing IT operating models and processes based on market best practices. Knowledge of sourcing strategies and policies. Familiarity with specific technologies (e.g., ERP, CRM, eCommerce, etc.). Relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA, Prince, ITIL v4, TOGAF v9, Scrum, AWS/Microsoft Azure/Google certifications).
