Field Service Engineer

Overview Field Service Engineer (Emilia Romagna) position at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics involves conducting service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines the most cost-effective solution. Escalates complex issues to higher levels of technical support or quality reporting systems. May develop new customer service/product agreements. Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory. The candidate should be able to utilize critical thinking and analysis to make decisions, solve problems and implement solutions, and communicate honestly to create empathy with customers, colleagues and collaborators. Key Responsibilities Provide Technical Customer support, on-site assistance to our customers. Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferable or BiotechTechnical/Electronic Secondary School Diploma, proficient English is mandatory Experience in technical service at least 5 years Open to travel, (driving license is mandatory) Good communication and interpersonal skills both in English and Italian Able to work autonomously, being a team player as well Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is proud to work alongside a community of six fellow Diagnostics Companies at Danaher.
