Our client is a well-established and growing food manufacturing business based in the heart of Mid Ulster. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee operations at their Mid Ulster production facility. Role Overview This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the end-to-end management of production operations within a busy food manufacturing environment. The Factory Manager will play a key role within the senior management team, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will lead and develop their team, drive performance improvements, and ensure all production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee all operational processes across the production site, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce waste. Lead, coach, and motivate the production team to achieve KPIs and maintain high standards of performance. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations. Support the introduction and management of new production processes and systems. Work closely with senior leadership to review company performance and implement strategic improvements. Foster a positive, proactive culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Champion best practices in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Essential Criteria Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar manufacturing or food production management role. Degree or equivalent qualification in a business-related discipline. Formal qualifications in Health & Safety and Food Safety. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational and analytical abilities, with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related IT systems. Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, adaptable, and committed to achieving results. Must have the right to work in the UK.
