Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Marshfield, WI Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Dec 22-27, 2023 Coverage Type: Clinical Call Shift/Call Schedule: 24-hr Shifts; 7a-7a Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 15 mins Call Ratio: 1:1 Patient Volume: 8-10 (both IP/OP) Admissions Required: Yes Rounding Included: Yes Support Staff: 1 MA, 3 NP/PAs, 1 Office Staff Required Procedures: - General CV/thoracic surgery, Coronary artery bypass surgery - Congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc) - Valvular and Aneurysm repair, Chest wall or pleural procedures - Permanent pacemaker placement, AICD (Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator), Left ventricular assist devices - TAVR, CABG, Vent Management, Bronchoscopy - Eval. and mgmt of acute vol/BP issues - Insertion of (Central line, Arterial line, PA Catheter & IABP) - General Vascular surgery, Aneurysm repair - aorto-abdominal, Bypass procedures - aorto-femoral/iliac, Endarterectomy, Subclavian steal procedures.
