Responsibilities Position is in a Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) setting Cares for both medical and surgical patients, including joint replacements and general surgical cases Unit includes 11 beds for COVID patients located in a designated area 12-hour night shifts with a schedule of two weekends out of every four, primarily Friday and Saturday nights Must be willing to float to multiple locations within the system, including Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview No additional on-call or backup requirements, but additional shifts may be available for coverage Candidates must be hard working, resilient, and adaptable to change Must be assertive, confident in ICU skills, and able to work collaboratively in a team Will be required to work Christmas with no blackout RTO allowed during this holiday Maximum of 7 days of requested time off will be accommodated Scrub color for this unit is dark blue Observed holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day Travelers may be placed on low census on-call, with up to 36 nonbillable low census hours Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required at the time of application Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience and Med/Surg competency required Previous travel nursing experience required Must live more than 50 miles from the facility Must provide two supervisory references and copies of all certifications Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625676.
