Prime Video and Studios Global Operations is looking for an entrepreneurial, innovative Solutions Architect to join our Global Marketing Operations team. The role blends deep AWS expertise with strong data architecture capabilities, focusing on system architecture, data solutions, automation and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities System Architecture: Design and implement scalable AWS solutions using Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, API Gateway; architect microservices and serverless workflows; create resilient integration patterns; follow AWS Well‑Architected Framework; design CI/CD pipelines and IaC. Data Architecture: Design data lakes and warehouses (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR); implement efficient ETL/ELT pipelines; create data models for marketing analytics; develop data governance and quality frameworks; design real‑time processing solutions (Kinesis, MSK). Cross‑Functional: Evaluate and recommend optimal technical solutions; lead architectural decision‑making; create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams; provide guidance on cost optimization and resource utilization; mentor team members on AWS best practices and principles. A Day in the Life: Lead solution design sessions; evaluate AWS services for new integration requirements; optimize existing data flows; collaborate with development teams; review and optimize AWS infrastructure costs; create architecture diagrams using AWS Well‑Architected Framework; guide teams on AWS best practices and data modeling standards. Basic Qualifications 8 years in technology domains (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics). 3 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures. 10 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries. Knowledge of cloud architecture. Preferred Qualifications 5 years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
