Job Description
An important multinational cliente leader in retail and wholesale industry is looking for "Tax Manager" based in Mexico City. General Objective: Lead the tax strategy for legal entities in Mexico, ensuring compliance with local and corporate tax obligations, proper tax management, and consolidation of the tax area within the regional financial structure. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field Extensive knowledge of monthly and annual tax returns, as well as tax calculation* Minimum of 8 years' experience in the tax area, including team leadership. (Candidates currently holding the position of Coordinator or Supervisor may be considered) Previous experience in one of the Big Four and subsequent move to Corporate. Fluent English. Proficiency in SAP and SAT platforms. To be determined whether experience in deferred taxes is an essential requirement. Responsibilities Develop the planning and organization of tax compliance for entities in Mexico to ensure proper compliance with all tax obligations Train the team in the tax areas required to perform their work Communicate and execute each change or update in current tax legislation, as well as the impacts on implementations required to take advantage of opportunities and avoid risks of non-compliance Supervise and ensure the correct calculation of the corresponding tax payments Strategic and planning support in the Region and especially in Mexico Provide support in special projects for the region.
