Responsibilities Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab within an acute care hospital setting Schedule consists of 5x8 hour day shifts with shifts from 8:00am-4:30pm or 7:00am-5:30pm Primary environment includes a 2-bed cath lab, 1-bed electrophysiology room, and 14 holding beds Call and standby coverage required, typically 1-2 days per week and every fourth weekend, with occasional weeknight call Charting is completed using Allscripts - Sunrise EMR Responsibilities include supporting high acuity cardiac procedures where door-to-balloon times are under 40 minutes RNs may be assigned to the holding room if census requires Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment Requirements Active IL RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and NIHSS are required Electrophysiology experience is preferred but not required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621407.
