Responsibilities Position is in a busy hospital Labor and Delivery unit and Level III Obstetrical Unit Patient population includes expectant mothers and newborns, with over 400 births in peak months Charting is done using EPIC; prior EPIC experience is required Day shifts consist of 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts, with weekends required as scheduled Float required within Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and like units as needed No call required for this position Three-day unit orientation provided in the first week Travelers are expected to float between similar units within their skill set as needed Experienced travelers may support less-experienced core staff Must commit to working at least three of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day No paid time off is permitted during holidays; all RTO must be declared at time of consideration Dress code allows any color scrubs except reddish orange Facility provides paid parking Returning employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers Requirements Current WA RN or Compact RN license required Minimum of two years recent Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nursing experience Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Intermediate Experience with Level III Obstetrical Unit preferred Epic EMR experience required Able to provide at least two supervisory references from the past three years Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility First-time travelers are welcome Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618285.
