Responsibilities Work in a hospital case management role covering all units except psychiatric and women/infants Assignment is 12 weeks with a Monday to Friday 40-hour work week Shifts are days, either 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm, based on unit needs Patient population spans multiple units with a facility census of 1000 beds Floating required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals Epic and Allscripts are the charting systems used Responsibilities include completing patient assessments, attending interdisciplinary rounds, and initiating referrals for home health, DME, SNF, LTACHs, and IRFs Must participate in fit testing with facial hair policy for compliance No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius Permanent staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler Modules must be completed before orientation and will be compensated up to 16 hours No requested time off is allowed during the first week of assignment; no more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of case management experience in a facility with 1000 beds required Epic charting experience preferred Academic medical center experience preferred References preferred for consideration No first-time travelers accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624119.
