Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac IR unit, requiring 2 years of experience and active NJ or compact licensure. Responsibilities Work in a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit Handle 5 to 10 cases per day involving interventional body, neuro, endovascular, abdominal, pelvic, and genitourinary procedures Shift schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM Every other weekend and holiday coverage required, with on-call up to 3 nights per week from 5 PM to 7 AM Candidates may be required to float within their skillset based on census and staffing needs Uses GE and Philips Angio Suites, EKOS, and closure devices EMR systems include Epic Radiant and Q-site Must be available to work 2 out of the 3 main winter holidays Hospital-provided scrubs are required Return staff must have a 1-year separation from the health system to be eligible Allied staff typically complete 1 hour of non-billable modules pre-start and annually Expects strict adherence to agreed-upon schedule and attendance policies Locals are accepted at the same rate Requirements Active NJ or compact license required at time of consideration BLS and ARRT certifications required Minimum of 2 years recent interventional radiology technologist experience Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating for interventional body and neuro procedures Experience with sterile procedure and equipment setup, and closure device use Familiarity with Epic Radiant and Q-site charting systems preferred First time travelers are accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624093.
