Job Description
Requirements: Tertiary qualification is essential, combined with at least 5 years' experience in similar environment Supervise the day-to-day operations of the abattoir, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards Coordinate slaughtering processes, meat inspections, packaging, and dispatch Maintain compliance with veterinary, food safety, and health regulations Manage abattoir staff, including shift scheduling and performance monitoring Monitor the inventory of supplies and ensure timely replenishment Maintain accurate records of production and inspection outcomes Liaise with veterinary officers and other regulatory bodies Enforce proper waste management and environmental compliance Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities Attention to detail and quality control Ability to enforce compliance under pressure
