Workshop Foreman

An company is seeking a workshop foreman to run daily operations in a mechanical, automotive, or industrial workshop. Key duties include: Supervising technicians and mechanics Managing workflow and job assignments Ensuring safety and compliance with regulations Maintaining inventory and equipment Quality control and customer service oversights Technical Qualification : A relevant trade certificate or diploma in mechanical engineering, automotive repair, or a related field is essential. Apprenticeship or Learnership a benefit Experience : 5–10 years of hands-on experience in a workshop environment is required, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role. Legal Compliance : In mining or industrial settings, foremen may need to meet specific legal requirements under OSHACT or MHSA regulation Valid driver’s license and computer literacy Foremen - sector-specific training.
