Forklift operator

Minimum Requirements Grade 10, Grade 12 (Matric) preferred. Valid Forklift Operator Certificate and License (SANS 1888 compliant). Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operating a forklift within a retail or warehousing environment. Physical ability to perform manual handling when necessary. Knowledge of warehouse procedures and pallet racking systems. Understanding of stock rotation principles. Basic literacy and numeracy for reading documentation and capturing quantities. High focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Strong safety awareness and hazard identification capability. Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. Key Responsibilities: Operate forklift and material handling equipment in compliance with safety standards and company procedures. Load, offload, stack, and relocate pallets, cages, and goods within designated storage areas. Conduct pre-inspection checks on forklift equipment and report any faults immediately. Assist with stock rotation, replenishment, and staging of stock for dispatch. Ensure accurate and timely movement of goods according to picking and receiving documentation. Maintain clean and safe working areas, following housekeeping and hygiene requirements. Work collaboratively with warehouse teams to meet daily operational targets. Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Quality, and Compliance policies. Support inventory counts and cycle checks where required. How to Apply:
