Import Specialist

We are looking for an Import Specialist with solid experience in international trade and customs operations. This person will ensure smooth import processes, deliver outstanding customer service, and guarantee compliance with internal policies, customs regulations, and shipment deadlines. The role involves supervising the operations team, coordinating key accounts, and ensuring the timely and accurate execution of import activities. Main Responsibilities: Provide customer service, including email follow-ups and issue resolution. Supervise compliance with internal policies and delegate responsibilities effectively. Ensure timely closure of files for billing cycles. Coordinate with internal teams and send KPI reports to clients. Ensure compliance with Foreign Trade Regulations and RRNA reviews. Support Team Leads and Traffic Executives with daily operations. Verify that all shipments are crossed on time and according to customer expectations. Analyze and prepare performance metrics for the area. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and 5S methodology . Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or a related field (required). Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a customs agency or similar environment. Knowledge: Customs law, international trade, and ground transportation. ISO 9001:2015 and OEA standards. Intermediate–advanced English (at least 70%).
