About the Role Primary responsibilities include accurate accounting, reporting, and forecasting of company fixed assets. In addition, the position will lead critical corporate projects. Main Responsibilities Oversee and maintain fixed assets for 7 Plants, 10 DSD warehouse locations and the Corporate Office; ensuring timeliness and accuracy of month-to-month activity. This includes Additions, Disposals and Value Adjustments and managing the integration of acquiring entities for fixed assets related. Responsible for the administration of company’s Expense software, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to company policies. Maintenance of users master data and support to end user. Prepare Ad hoc analysis and reports. Participate and drive action plans for Internal Audits to the company’s expense reimbursements. Develop and maintain the fixed asset policies and procedures, align them in accordance with IFRS and with the Parent Company, while also considering internal controls and best practices. Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts of all depreciation expense, including deploying schedules to all legal entities and locations. Ensure monthly depreciation is posted. Complete and maintain month end account reconciliations and fixed asset roll-forwards. Responsible for the administration of Company’s Credit Card Program for travel cards and Purchase cards ensuring company policy compliance. Maintaining up to date active cards, coordinating actions for minimizing financial risk on Card usage to the company. Work closely with Operations Controllers, DSD location Administrators and Corporate Upper Management to assist with all capital forecasting, planning, tracking spending and preparing ad hoc analyses, internal audits, donations and other support as needed. Maintain strong relationships with internal fixed asset customers by building a strong communicational network across the organization. Become the go-to-person for anything related to fixed assets. Provide guidance to departments on fixed asset classification in accordance with IFRS (i.e. capital versus expense). Facilitate and coordinate approval of additions, disposals, and transfers, maintenance and repair projects. Guide on the use of forms and support provided by the locations prior to routing. Manage resolutions with IT department for correct performance on managing fixed assets functionality for approval and recording assets recording. Work with and assist corporate accounting with quarterly, annual external audit and fixed and Intangibles reports Assist and work with the Tax Department on fixed asset roll-forwards for property tax, specific tax accounting issues related to fixed assets, maintaining the tax fixed asset ledgers, and other tasks as needed. Assist accounting with other ad-hoc requests or special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration, Internal Audit or related to the role. Two (2) years’ general accounting, Business Administration and/or audit experience. Professional working proficiency in English verbal and written. Preferred Qualifications SAP experience FICO Module and Fixed Asset Module. MBA or CPA certification. Public Accounting Experience Preferred. Required Skills Strong communication skills are a must, as this position involves significant communication and relationship building with internal customers. Must be confident and comfortable dealing with all levels of organization including understanding the level of detail needed at the various levels. Strong computer skills are needed, particularly advanced MS Excel. Adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions of Manager.
