Your Impact The Role: Operations Specialist, EMEA At Stone Island we are always looking for people who share our spirit and values to drive our company forward. We are currently looking for an engaged and passionate Operations Specialist, EMEA to join the Retail Team at the Stone Island HQ in Milan. As part of the Global Retail Excellence Department the resource will support the Retail direct Store Operations activities. The resource will take care of all the Retail development and Operations projects ensuring an effective and timely execution and coordinate with Regional Managers to ensure the smooth running of all activities. Day-To-Day New Openings: Responsible for retail development activities related to new store openings, relocations, refurbishments, and temporary stores. Oversee the project from initial stages in collaboration with store design team, coordinating all departments involved in implementing technical infrastructures and preparatory activities to design, execute, and launch each store to the highest quality standards. Main point of contact for coordination with landlords during negotiation and contractual phases of operational aspects. Maintenance: Manage maintenance and improvement requests for existing stores in collaboration with Store Design department, coordinating efforts to ensure timely and quality interventions, respecting established budget, and ensuring optimal upkeep of stores’ image. Provide operational support to safety & security department, ensuring installation and proper functioning of safety equipment according to company standards. Store Handbook & Guidelines: At regional level act as point of reference and responsible for managing and updating all company procedures. Create and share operational manuals ensuring clarity and correct application of described activities in compliance with company guidelines. Operational Efficiency: Constant communication with stores to ensure proper implementation of new projects and consolidation of existing ones, guaranteeing adherence to company guidelines. Coordinate with IT department to ensure full functionality of all systems supporting store operations. Develop regional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency in stores, keeping processes up to date and aligned with current trends. Non-Merchandise Management: Responsible for non-merchandise purchasing for stores within area, ensuring compliance with global standard flows (packaging & uniforms), following established regional flows (stationery), and implementing new ones if necessary. Collaborate with Sustainability department to ensure adherence to group guidelines and targets regarding environmental matters. P&L & Budget Management: In coordination with Global Operations Manager, monitor and manage store costs, ensuring compliance with assigned budget. Inventory Management: Responsible for scheduling, training, and supervising store inventories. Identify and implement actions aimed at maintaining and continuously reducing inventory discrepancies. Qualifications Previous experience in the role 3-5 years. Excellent communication skills. Previous experience in project management / sales roles in Fashion Retail/Hospitality, preferably in a Luxury and Contemporary Retail environment. Economy, Enterprise Management. Ability in dealing with people and an attitude for teamwork. Very trustworthy, flexible, and proactive. Ability to manage multiple tasks, define priorities. Fluency & proficiency in both Italian and English – additional languages are a plus. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, 365, especially Excel.
