Part Time ABA Behavior Technician

The Lighthouse Children?s Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part Time ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) Behavior Technician to join our team. This role is critical in providing behavioral intervention services to adolescent girls aged 13-17, who are facing emotional and behavioral challenges. As a Behavior Technician, you will implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help our residents learn social, communication, and adaptive life skills in a supportive and structured environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a transformative impact in the lives of troubled girls, guiding them towards more positive and constructive futures. Implement behavioral treatment plans prescribed by the supervising BCBA. Record and collect data on patients' progress and communicate this to the supervising BCBA. Assist in the creation of behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition. Provide direct patient care in individual and group settings. Maintain a safe and positive environment for clients. Support clients in their daily activities and routines, adapting to the individual needs of each girl. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members as applicable to provide comprehensive care. Experience in ABA therapy and behavioral interventions. Strong observational and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups. Patience and resilience in challenging situations. Basic proficiency in data entry and report preparation.
