Senior IT SAP The SAP EDI expert will be the linchpin in supporting streamlining digital communication between our enterprise and global trading partners. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, data accuracy, and customer satisfaction by ensuring seamless integration of inbound and outbound EDI transactions across procurement, order management, logistics, and invoicing. Strong communication skills are mandatory. You will be also working in a global team. Key Responsibilities Visualize available standard functionalities of SAP MM, WM, PP, SD Work directly with business partners to gather requirements for enhancements and deliver solutions to business issues in the overall logistic/EDI area Responsible for designing, configuring, documenting, delivering, supporting, and testing SAP EDI solutions to meet business requirements with support from Business Integration Manager Design functional specifications and work with internal resources and/or external developers to oversee the timely completion and efficiency of EDI mapping, master data, and integration testing. Maintain detailed documentation on all internal processes related to Logistics/EDI Collaborate with representatives of other IT/functional areas to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency of new connections and/or processes Identify opportunities to standardize processes and system configuration enterprise wide and ensure compliance across all implementations to these standards Ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with established standards, methodologies and best practices. Advise management of the project status and problems, or potential problems, on a regular basis Assist in designing the EDI roadmap including migration to SAP S4/HANA Qualifications Bachelor in Information Systems or Business Administration 5-7 years of experience in EDI setup and troubleshooting Proven history of successful consulting with logistics business partners Strong communication skills Preferred Skills At least one additional language (German or Spannish for US; English for CN) Strong EDI knowledge ANSI X.12, EDIFACT, ODETTE, VDA Develop BADIs, user exits, enhancements in a global system Experience with S4 / HANA Strong ERP process knowledge Gentherm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
