EHS Leader

First Brands Group is hiring for a EHS Leader for our site Novares. Puebla, Puebla . The EHS Leader will assist by ensure compliance with key EHS KPIs through management systems implementation, while safeguarding personnel and workplace safety. Provide EHS support across all areas and lead emergency preparedness and risk prevention initiatives. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in compliance with ISO 14001:2015, including audits, document control, and reporting to top management. Develop and manage occupational health and safety programs, including risk assessments, emergency response, and regulatory compliance. Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and environmental requirements (PROFEPA, civil protection, hazardous waste, fire safety, etc.). Lead accident investigations (8D methodology), incident reporting, and corrective action follow-up. Oversee safety KPIs (e.g. OSHA, IATF) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct EHS training and support skills matrix development for all personnel. Education and Experience: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related fields 5 years of experience in the automotive sector and industrial health & safety Knowledge of regulations and procedures from STPS, PROFEPA, and Civil Protection authorities Experience in risk analysis and issuance of work permits Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office Intermediate English level Familiarity with IATF 16949 standard Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status
