Temporary Finance Executive Immediate Start (Contract) Pertemps is urgently seeking a Finance Executive on a temporary contract to join a well-established organisation based in the Edinburgh area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules - Reconciliations across various ledgers and bank accounts - Assisting with month-end and year-end processes - Processing accounts payable and receivable accurately and on time - Supporting VAT returns and liaising with external auditors - Ensuring compliance with financial policies and internal controls Essential Skills & Experience: - Proven track record in a Finance Executive / Senior Accountant type role - Strong experience with reconciliations, management accounts, and financial reporting - Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines - Good working knowledge of accounting systems (desirable: Sage / Sun / Dynamics or equivalent) - Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively Contract Details: - Temporary assignment, duration to be confirmed (with strong likelihood of extension - Working hours: Full-time - Location: Edinburgh - Immediate start available If you are a qualified finance professional available immediately and looking for your next challenge, please apply with your CV today.
